The feed and the calendar

There are two ways to look through what is on Involvo. They answer different questions, so it is worth knowing which one you want.

The feed

The feed is a list of events you scroll through. Use it when you are open to whatever is out there and want to see what is available.

You can order it three ways:

• Registration deadline — what closes soonest comes first. This is the one to use if you do not want to miss a cut-off.
• Event date — what happens soonest comes first.
• Newest first — what was added to Involvo most recently.

Most of the time you will want to narrow the feed down rather than scroll all of it. See Filters.

The calendar

The calendar shows a month at a time, with the days that have events marked. Use it when your question is about a particular date — a free weekend, the week before an exam, the holidays.

From a day you can open any event on it and carry on as normal.

Which one to use

If you are asking "what is coming up that I would like?", use the feed.

If you are asking "what is happening on this day?", use the calendar.

One thing to know when signed out

You can browse both without an account. For the current month you will see everything. For other months you may see only part of what is there, so if you are planning further ahead, sign in. See Do I need an account?
