Plans and limits
Most of Involvo is free. Plans exist for people and organizations who run into the limits of the free tier.
Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page in the app. They are not repeated here, so that this page cannot go out of date while the app is right.
Two separate kinds of plan
This trips people up, so it is worth stating plainly.
Personal plans apply to you as an individual. They affect things you do: how many events you can share in a day, how far back you can page through what your friends are going to, whether you get the detailed analytics view.
Organization plans apply to an organization. They affect what the organization can do when running events: how many people an event can take, how many members it can have, how many announcements it can send to followers, how many tracking links per event.
Buying a personal plan does not upgrade an organization you belong to, and an organization's plan does not upgrade you. If you want more capacity for your events, the organization needs the plan.
What "limits" means here
Two different shapes:
Switches — a feature is either included or not. Detailed analytics, data export, animated avatars.
Allowances — a number. Participants per event, organization members, tracking links per event, daily shares, follower announcements, organizations you can follow.
Some allowances reset daily, some monthly, and a few are simply a ceiling on how many can exist at once. Where you are against a limit is shown in the app rather than something you have to count yourself.
Free is a real tier, not a trial
You can find events, register, attend, check in, network, publish events and run them on the free tier. Nothing expires, and publishing is free regardless of plan.
The free tier's limits are sized for a person going to events and an organization running a few of them. They start to bind when you run events often, take large numbers of participants, or want the analytics.
How you get a plan
Plans are bought with Impact Stars. Stars are earned by using Involvo, so a higher plan is something you work up to rather than something you pay for.
Plan time is sold in stretches rather than as a rolling subscription, which makes short bursts practical — a few days on a higher plan around one busy event, rather than committing to a month.
